Hey man, I’m using the torrented version of MGQ3(Honestly can’t afford to buy it) and when I patched part 3, converted it into full game with the .nsa files from part 2(They were the wrong size, but it said it converted anyways? New game started at the beginning of part 1) but when I converted my load from 2 to 3, it started me off with the goblin girl going kazoom or w/e, and on the 3rd or 4th “kazoom” it crashed. Happens if I run the MGQ2 patch, the MGQ3, and on administrator. I double checked installation and I did everything according to the readme, the only thing out of the ordinary was the .nsa files not being the sizes listed in the readme. Any ideas? Using the partial patch w/o mods.

You may be missing some files in the game folder or maybe it was a bad torrent most people that report problems didn’t apply the patch right like they didn’t apply it as it was said in the read me.
I had something similar of a problem it was madening looking at the readme files and saying they don’t match up gaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh I figured out then that I needed the nsa files from both MGQ1 and MGQ2 not just MGQ2 that’s may be why they don’t match up for you.
then again you might just be missing some sound files or something like some guy from the MGU forum but if this doesn’t work for you I’d suggest getting another download(from a different site or torrent link) and reapplying the patch sometimes a fresh start makes all the difference.

I think it will be at 66.6% like last time for MGQ2
well the first patch(for part 3) ended at 37% so the second will probably end around the event at Sealed Sinner’s Prison or after the war council event but before you walk around and talk to everyone there(town dialog).
note at that point that are only 16 battles, 14 non battle H-scenes(mostly in the epilog), and a lot of City(mostly in the epilog) and Story dialog. if next patch includes everything up to the H-scene with Alice after the war council then change the my listed remaining H-scene count to 12

It’s one thing to type in shorthand, or – god forbid – AOL speak, because some people will just never learn to use proper grammar online.
It’s entirely another to prove you can spell (disregarding “allot,” should be “a lot.” Common mistake.), and randomly stick ONE shorthand in. That skips past annoyance, straight to eye-sore.
I can’t believe that you failed to comment on his use of the imaginary word “their’s”. In all likelihood, he meant to write “there’s” – “there is” (singular), referring to “a lot of people” (plural). The correct term is therefore “there are”, as in “there ARE a lot of people”. “alot” is nonstandard.
The exclamation “wee…” should’ve been: “whee!”. An ellipsis after an exclamation of delight indicates sarcasm or lack of enthusiasm. “wee” means small, little or short. It can also mean to urinate when used as a verb.
He is also using an excessive amount of periods, including a double ellipsis as well as two single periods in his user name. He does not capitalize the first letter at the start of each sentence.
Having already provided the subject, verb and object of the sentence with his (albeit misspelled) use of the phrase “their’s allot of people”, following this up the word “are” becomes not only redundant but also grammatically incorrect.
Finally, the use of any type of internet lingo is completely unacceptable and carries the punishment of death by a thousand paper cuts to the balls.
In summary, the sentence should have been “There *are* *a lot* of people *who* are *waiting* for this patch.”
I’m all for Grammar Nazism, but at least do a proper job of it!
(I think the fact that the game is out but untranslated is getting to all of us…)

If you are all for grammar nazi-ism, and try to make yourself out to be Mr. Representative of the 5th Reich of Grammar, perhaps you should proofread your own writing.

“People” is a countable noun, unlike “money” and “sand”. You would say “how many [people]” when dealing with a countable noun, whereas you would say “how much [money]” when using a non-countable noun. Thus, the following sentences are grammatically correct:
There are a lot of people in this room.
The is a lot of money in the bank.
There are a lot of cars in Uranus.
While it is a valid argument that “a lot” is the direct subject of the verb, I find it to be rather weak since “a lot” is only there to point to “people”, which is the actual subject of the sentence.

Quick question for anyone interested (or maybe bug report) though, my game seems to be bugged in part 3; after beating the Angels in Enrika and being offered to visit the other places, although Iliasburg shows up, clicking it does absolutely nothing. I’ve tried merging parts 1, 2 and 3, triple checked my nsa files, restarted the game, reloaded from earlier saves… nothing is working. Also, if I proceed to Sentora, my only option is the Spirits Forest, and that does not seem to be correct either. Maybe that’s all that’s been patched…?

One of Valkyrie’s attacks is untranslated in the second battle when she says “Can you take this movement?” It occurs when Luka is bound.
So I’m guessing, the second patch would be up to getting Undine back (Gold region) or hopefully up to the drain lab. And the last patch would be the rest.

When I get to the fight where you play as Alma, the icon remains luka’s and the hp stays as luka’s as well (2300 I think). I end up not having enough HP to get through the sequence and can’t progress.

I really don’t care about the attention itself. It’s knowing that I made some people laugh that makes me happy. I’ve been like that since I was a kid, and I think I’ll always be like that- making people smile is what makes me smile.
As for posting elsewhere, sure I do! Under different aliases, that is. But there are few places that celebrate MGQ as much as Rogue’s blog, and considering how long it takes for Rogue to work his magic, a little humor and good conversation here and there is worthwhile, I think. Rather than just an entire page of “Rogue is dead,” “when’s the next patch,” and “NEED MOAR HORA!” I think having an actual dialogue here is a good idea. There have been plenty of small conversations, sure, but nothing unified on the same topic. Now that the reply system is working as well as the American Judicial System, that doesn’t seem like an attainable goal, but nonetheless, might as well give it a shot. Towards that goal, the best way to start a conversation is with humor, good or bad.
As for the “troll audience,” who cares? I think they’re fun to play with. Little kids who think the word “Anus” is cool and think that what other people think of them is important; I love playing with kids like that. If you need proof, re-read this message! It’s directed to one! :D
On a serious note, I really don’t care about having your “respect” or “backing.” In my daily life, I have people who respect me and support me. It used to be that trolling was a art. The first trolls were glorious masters of misdirection, turning their opponents’ own words against them and poking holes in the most well-thought of arguments. Now anyone who knows how to call someone names is a “troll.” So sad… There aren’t enough masters of wordcraft anymore. Or maybe they’re just all spread out. Either way, fuggin sucks.

If you lose, you’ll be raped by exotic women.
H-scenes will all be femdom.
The battles will be fundamentally the same as MGQ, except this time you have party members. (How the hell is that remotely the same?)
You can easily rewatch ero scenes once you’ve seen them.
For people that don’t want to be bothered with the game, clear data will be included so you can see the ero scenes.
The degree of difficulty will be relatively simple, similar to DQ3-6 or FF4-6. It will be possible to raise the difficulty if you choose though.
Even if you’re bad at RPGs, you can easily steamroll fights if you level up. Skilled players will be able to use skills and abilities to progress through at low levels.
There will be very few riddles, and practically no puzzles in dungeons.
There will be no way to screw up your character from misallocating stat points or anything like that. Attributes will automatically go up when you level.
You can turn enemy monsters into your companions.
The system will resemble DQ5-6.
You will only be able to recruit one monster per type/species. It will not be possible to have multiple companions of the same type/species. (Not quite sure what he means by this. He probably means that you can’t have 2 of the exact same monster, but it could be read as limiting you to 1 harpy out of all the different types of harpies, etc.)
You can recruit any monster that you fight. Therefore there are going to be a huge number of possible companions.
There will be a base for your companions to wait at when not in your party. You can bring along 7 of them and swap members at the base whenever you’re there. It will also be possible to play with fewer, even alone if you dare.
Even though you can have a party of 8, only 4 fight at once. You’re free to swap between them outside of battle.
There will be various jobs that you can switch between. The job system will be extremely similar to DQ6-7.
By raising job levels, you can acquire skills and abilities.
For monsters you really like, you can repeatedly change their jobs and train them up.
If you raise your companion monster’s impression of you, they will reward you erotically.
There will be no monster fusion system or way to father children to add to your party.
There will be a monster conversation system like in the Shin Megami Tensei series. They will ask you questions and demand items and money. Depending on the results, it will change their opinion of you, they may give you presents, and it may become easier to recruit them.

Well, I just recently learned of this game series, and it took some searching, but I eventually found a version of the first game with the patch. Problem is, I can’t seem to figure out how the save “fix” works, even WITH the instructions. And to top it off, all the patch links for the first and second games are dead! I just wanna play this series from the beginning…

You know, at some point, it becomes necessary to have timestamps displayed next to these comments. I keep checking back, and I see the comment numbers continually rise, and yet I have no idea of which comments are the new ones half the time. Even when the Reply System wasn’t completely borked, it was still tough to tell what was new and what was old.
If Rogue weren’t nearly finished, I’d suggest we make the move to a Forum system, with individual threads, timestamps, set usernames, and so on… Then again, since we can look forward to yet another game from torotoro, even if Rogue has no intention of translating it, we may as well have the forum itself as the center of the fapping fandom. In a very strong sense, we’re already the center of the culture… reinventing ourselves to allow for a clearer sense of community may be a wise idea.
That in mind, I seem to recall there already being a Monster Girl community, though I can’t recall its name…
